Looking out my window, I often see birds, butterflies, and cats. It becomes my light of enjoyment. At other times, my window is sadness, beauty beyond my touch. Once again these 4 walls entrap my mind.
I've lived a hundred lives within books. Yet all books come to an end and its back to my cage.
I've often wondered if a caged bird sings out of boredom or sadness. I know what it's like to walk hundreds of miles and never go anywhere. I know what it's like to watch the seasons pass you from one spot; to watch the sun and moon rise and fall, but never follow you throughout your day. I know what it's like to watch your life pass by. So, do caged birds sign out of sadness? After 17 years in a cage, I know I do.
Won't you help me free my mind? I seek people who wish to build true friendship. I'm respectful and won't play any type of games. I'm loyal as a dog and a little silly. I love to laugh, even when it hurts.
In this world you'll find wonder, excitement, happiness, and love. It's also a place of disappointment, sadness, sorrow, pain and hurt. Life can be cruel and unfair. I'm here to listen and walk every step with you.
