Companionship is underappreciated in this day and age for those on the inside and outside. Technology, mainly social media, has created a disconnect in building a solid, sustainable friendship. I feel it’s time to get back to that. It starts with a letter or an e-mail from you.
I’ve been incarcerated 10 years. In that time I’ve grown from a boy into a man. This process wouldn’t have happened without correspondence from people on the outside. Here I am again, seeking you to write.
There’s depth in every person. It just takes the right person to reach that depth. There’s compassion in every person. It just takes the right person to bring that compassion out. There’s a heart in all of us. It just takes the right person to grab onto that heart and pour their all into it.
You’re that person. So write me directly or send me an e-mail. That’s the first brick in building a solid foundation of friendship and companionship. Everybody needs somebody. They just have to open their mind and hearts, seek them out and find them.
Waiting to hear from you.
