Hi,

My name is James.  I was born and raised in Chicago.  I’m currently serving a life sentence but my incarceration doesn’t define who I am.  Like steel, I will come through the fire, stronger and better.

I’m spontaneous, adventurous and a bit of a risk taker.  I love nature, the outdoors, hiking, biking and camping.  I like mixed martial arts.  I lift weights and jog to stay healthy.  I’d like to travel to Canada and Europe.  I’ve been to Niagara Falls and to Ireland twice.  I prefer rock music.  Led Zeppelin and AudioSlave are favorites.

I’m kind, compassionate, laid back, easy going and chivalrous.  I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.  I’ve been told I’m a good listener and that I have nice eyes. 

I love hot and spicy foods.  I love to cook and would like to attend culinary school.  I love animals and once owned a cat but consider myself a dog person.  I’d like to get a pet squirrel but I currently live in a High Security Gated Community that doesn’t allow pets.

I try to stay positive and to make the best of some very unfortunate circumstances.  I’m in a terrible place but that doesn’t change who I am.  I enjoy writing and meeting new people.  All I ask is that you are honest, non-judgmental and willing to give me a chance.
