Stillwater Prison Literacy Project - This site provides an account based on the personal experiences of Thorwald (Tory) Esbensen, MicroEd's President and Instructional Designer. For three years, Mr. Esbensen conducted a project at Minnesota's maximum security prison in Stillwater. Its purpose was to teach illiterate prisoners to read.
