I use Jpay to email my brother. It's faster and the cost is low

I prefer writing the letters by hand I think it's more personal, I do use JPay to send a message every now and then If I can't get to the post office before it shuts.

I think it's nicer to receive a handwritten letter personally.

I went through writeaprisoner and then I got an email asking me to confirm that I wanted to correspond with the person named.

The initial email I sent was from writeaprisoner, and this is where they get it on the 4th and 20th of the month. After that when I confirmed it I was taken to CorrLinks to email. He had already sent one. It costs me nothing but it costs the inmate 5 cents a minute to use it at CorrLinks. We email everyday so it isn't just the 4th and 20th once you get started with CorrLinks.

I like it. I think it works out great this way. However, I have written snail mail to a prisoner whose name I got viaMatthew2536ministries. It is Christian based. I just wrote him a letter and sent it with my home address for return mail. I decided if God had it in the Bible to not forget prisoners, it must be OK to use my home address.

"Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners."

I know this is a little old, but I just got here. :) It looks like a valid service to me, maybe a little expensive for what you get, but the laziness of not finding stamps and envelopes or printing pictures to send has got to be worth something right. I do know that some prisons won't accept letters sent from third parties, so make sure before you buy.

Is this a valid company? I'm not so sure of all this.
