Boyfriend currently in lock up will be getting out soon, how do I as a support system help him with his life out of lock up? And how can I be a support to him finding a job? What things do I need to know and what do I need to do for him? I know patience and understanding but I want to be sure that he gets the best help when he comes back.

I agree, I'm actually printing this out to send parts of to a couple people.
You know I had no idea that American Airlines and American Express hired Ex felons? AWESOME! NJ is at work release and trying to find work, this will definitely help. In a way it was good that the stupid spammer brought this thread back up, otherwise I wouldn't have checked :o
Thanks for posting this information. I served with the National Alliance of Businessmen as the Ex-Offender liason and I know how much a resource like this helps. And on the other hand I would encourage people to write and thank companies that hire ex-offenders because many of them like to hear that they have broad community support.
Again thanks for adding this link here.
This is wonderful! Thanks for sharing! I can at least know that my son has a chance of getting a job after he's released. I thought that when you had committed a felony that you could never get a job again unless you worked self employed. Good to know!
