Hi,

I was wondering if anybody out there has anybody they know complete this programme?

My friends projected release date isn't until march 2015, yet he has been approached to start this programme.
He thinks it might mean that he will be getting out a lot sooner than March 2015.

My question is has anyone's friend, relative etc, done this programme, and then been released right after?
Does it run for a set amount of time like 2 months for example and then they get released? or does the length of it vary depending on the individual?

Just want to know if there's a good chance of him coming out sooner :)

or it could RID, Re-entry and Integration Division. Its a voluntary program offered to offenders to assess pre and post release needs. Housing, Transportation, Clothing, Substance Abuse needs etc.

It could be the "Changes" program. Which is very good news. Its a long wait list to get in to it.

It doesn't necessarily mean he will be paroled any earlier, but a pre-release programme is often a condition to be met before parole is granted.
