My main PP gets out in about 2 months. I wanted to send one of these kits, but is the name of a correctional officer necessary? What is the process here? Does the officer store it somewhere until the prisoner gets out? It seems to all hinge on a prisoner officer being willing to put themselves out.

Do any of you know if the going home kits will reach the inmates in FCI Estill, SC? I had one sent to a guy in Ohio and they didn't accept it. For the guy in Estill, it's really important that it gets there.

Personally, I love the idea of the kit. The flash light did raise some ??? though. Made me visualize a burglar entering a house with a flashlight :-) But I'm sure it will come in handy when in a shelter also. Not to trip over others when getting up to go to the bathroom during the night.

Super cool! Thanks so much for letting us know about this.

Im guessing their need the flashlight at night times.. because along with the toilet roll the general public wont be there to pay the electric bill either..silly ..

What a good idea! Not sure what the flashlight would be good for but the pre-paid cards are a great idea.
