I installed the JPay app on my phone so I could make video grams and I have a little orange bubble that pops up near the icon on my home screen to let me know when I get notifications regarding mails as, at the moment, Jpay isn't notifying me of mails through my regular email system (I've double checked my settings, no issues there).

Currently, the app registers 2 new mails, but when I open the app - there are none - I've also opened it on the computer and, as before, no new mails. Anyone know how to fix this? I bug reported it to Jpay, but if there's a work around, I'm all ears.

It wouldn't be an issue if I could just ignore it, but if I do get mail - it doesn't register them and bump the notice from 2 to 3, it just sits at 2 constantly. I'd need to get 3 new mails before it registered as 3. Really odd bug, bit annoying as I get excited to have new mail, then discover there are none :(

Edited to add: I restarted the phone and the app, no change. I also reinstalled the app, which originally cleared it up, but once I opened the app it began having the same problem. It's persistent!

Yes. Usually I hear from him once a back or twice even, but I've heard nothing for a few days now... For a couple of hours yesterday JPay couldn't even be accessed.

Has any one had out of character contact or lack of contact with their PP via JPay. Or finding messages super slow coming through. Nebraska in particular.

Thank you for letting me know! Good to know it's not just me. What a bummer though. I get the email notifications occasionally - but they're very sporadic.

Yup. Ever since the latest update, zero notifications on the app. It USED to work just fine for that. Hopefully by the next update...

I've been using JPay for the past two-ish months and I've never received a notification on from their app ( no banners, no lockscreen notifications, nada). They usually just come through when I refresh. I have the latest version of the app. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing this issue? Thanks!

I had similar issues with JPay yesterday - one error over and again for both logging in and sending things "failed, cannot connect to network server. Check your network connection and try again". At least it's working today.

Edit: Unfortunately, my counter doesn't show anything new and I'm still not getting email notifications - I'm just checking regularly.

I know they had some issues during the past few days. I got database errors spewed at me when I used the jpay site on my computer, the app on my phone took 5 minutes to retrieve a draft, then once it loaded it disappeared for a moment. I reloaded the app and found my draft again (again waiting 5 minutes to load). I checked the site again, couldn't log in despite everything being spelled out correctly. An hour later I could log in again, but it took forever to load and when I bought some stamps I was faced with more database error stuff. I reported those errors, but haven't heard back.

This morning it all worked fine for me again. (I have not received any mails, so I don't know about the counter yet).

Thank you for the work around, finally - that was so annoying! I was really surprised when it persisted after I reinstalled - like some kind of evil gremlin just clinging to the app.

I have the same issue. On my phone if I hold the app button like I am going to uninstall the app I get a option to "clear badge". When I do that it sets it back to zero, but I do have to do it every time I check my messages or the number stays.
