Hi! I'm just curious if inmates have the option to delete or block people on JPay. I have a penpal who received a rude message recently. His case was considered pretty high profile back in the day so I think people often think they are clever by looking him up and saying rude things. :/ Anyway, I'm asking because on his end, he doesn't see a way to block the person but it seems weird to me that inmates wouldn't be able to have at least a little bit of control over who contacts them. He is in Idaho if that makes any difference. I know some states have different rules and things like that. Thanks so much and have a great day! :)

I agree 100%. It makes me sad. I feel like this is a big problem especially for higher profile inmates like my penpal who has been in a few documentaries and such. It isn't fair. I feel like they should be able to at least block people who are rude to them. :/

It seems very unfair that they can't decide for themselves whom they choose to communicate with.

Thanks so much for replying! So from your answer and other websites I've looked this up on, it seems like there's no way for them to do it, wow!

When my husband had jpay in Ohio, he was unable to remove people on his list. He even tried having his unit manager contact jpay.
