Hey everyone.

It's my PP's birthday soon and I want to give him a book for his birthday that I can send from Amazon.

Does anyone have recommendations what books are good these days for them to read in prison?

On Amazon is a book series called, CREATE THE BOOK- WE ALL HAVE A STORY TO TELL : SERIES TITLES - SEA GATE, THE FINAL ROUND, EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE, POLE SHIFT, FLIGHT NOTES, POLE SHIFT. These are DIY books, you write the story based on the cover of the book. This is a way a prisoner could not only pass time, but could become a millionaire by creating the next BEST SELLER BOOK or Blockbuster MOVIE! The book covers are beautifully done, there are 119 blank pages inside the book. While your loved one is creating the story based on the cover of the book, you give your loved one the feeling of freedom and hope for the future! After they write the book, it can be submitted to a publisher. They could be getting rich while inside prison because they created the next movie or book bestseller. I bought these books for my daughter, and it has turned her life of despair to a life of hope! Highly recommend!!!!!

I have read Victor Frankl's work and he has written about his time in the concentration camps as a prisoner during WW2. It may be a great book but can also be very depressing. If PP is matured to seek truth in life and go on a path of self discovery, please look up - I Am by Harpreet K Kang

I would reccomend trying out classic books. They are free to super cheap to get. You could also try shakespeare~!.

I would recommend Victor Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning".

Is your PP religious and into sports? If so I can give lots of recommendations on those topics. Also when is his birthday? I know there is a prison memoir coming out at the start of March if he likes nonfiction.

Depends on what kind of genre your PP likes - non-fiction, fiction, romance, sci-fi, thriller, action, biography etc.

I will say that my PP loved Shantaram. But it's a book about a guy that escaped from prison in Australia and went to India, only to be locked up in an Indian jail. It's a good read for anyone I feel. I have a few fantasy/sci-fi type recommendations if you think that might be what he's into....
