I think this is the right forum for this? Anyway, so my boyfriend is at a prison where they have set up the tents in the yard to house Covid positive inmates and the yard is right next to the gym which the staff that work in the yard use and that is still open. He even told me about this one staff member that handled things in the kitchen, went out to the yard, then came back inside. Like I know just because you get Covid it doesn't mean you'll die from it or even have symptoms, but it still pisses me off that DOC isn't handling this situation very well and staff aren't being held accountable for their actions and some staff straight up obviously don't care. I feel helpless and annoyed and worried.

Lol Donald Duck. But I'm glad he's doing well and still is cancer-free. Staff just are not doing their part, stupidity is everywhere. I checked up on my boyfriend's best friend who is at another prison cuz I kept hearing about deaths over there so I was making sure he was still alive cuz DOC sucks at notifying family and friends are totally out the loop. But he's fine thankfully, but he's been on lockdown for months since his unit is almost 100% Covid positive.

He's doing well, he was having moments of when it sounded like I was speaking to donald duck on the phone. Given it was throat cancer, they wanted to check and make sure it hasn't reoccurred. Luckily he is cancer free still, just leftover damage from the radation.. so I have to get use to phone sex with Donald Duck on occassion. LOL LOL. But it was right before Christmas, and he was like.. how come they ain't on quarantine.. they were around all the prisoners and talking with staff, he only had interactions with the doctor and nurse.. SMDH

Oh my goodness, do people not get it? I hope he's doing well.

My boyfriend recently had to travel to the hospital to have a cancer screening follow-up, he's a 5 year cancer survivor. Upon his return to prison he was placed on a 14 day lockdown to ensure he didn't have covid, yet the co's that transported him , rode in the same van was allowed to come and go like everything was just fine. Talk about skewed views..
