Void of Perfection

I transcend arcane thoughts, as I drown in emotion,
Suffocating in solitude, in a pursuit for devotion.
Concealing commotion, behind a luminous smile,
A tactic to cloak, what’s been there for a while.
A destitution in my life, from the absence of affection,
Reaching out for a friend, in my quest for connection.
In search of direction, seen in my mirrors reflection.
Full of love and protection, void of evil subjection,
I’ll be your selection, if you don’t believe in perfection.
