Secrets of the Shroud of Turin: Jesus Christ
I will start off by giving you some relevant information for this writing about the Shroud of Turin from Wikipedia.
The Shroud of Turin ( Italian: Sindone di Torino ), also known as the Holy Shroud ( Italian: Sacra Sindone ), is a length of linen cloth that bears a faint image of the front and back of a man. It has been venerated for centuries, especially by members of the Catholic Church, as the actual burial shroud used to wrap the body of Jesus of Nazareth after his crucifixion, upon which Jesus's bodily image is miraculously imprinted....The shroud's authenticity as a holy relic has been disputed even within the Catholic Church....
Since 1683, the shroud has been kept in the Chapel of the Holy Shroud in Turin, Italy, which was designed for that purpose by architect Guarino Guarini, and which is connected to both the royal palace and the Turin Cathedral (the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist). The Catholic Church owns the Shroud....
The nature and history of the shroud have been the subjects of extensive and long-lasting controversies in both the scholarly literature and the popular press. Currently, the Catholic Church neither endorses nor rejects the authenticity of the shroud as a relic of Jesus. In 2013 Pope Francis referred to it as an ' icon of a man scourged and crucified'....
The shroud is rectangular, measuring approximately 4.4 x 1.1 meters ( 14ft 5 inches x 3ft 7 inches ). The cloth is woven in a three-to-one herringbone twill composed of flax fibrils. It's most distinctive characteristic is the faint, brownish image of a front and back view of a naked man with his hands folded across his groin....
The image in faint straw-yellow color on the crown of the cloth fibers appears to be of a man with a beard, moustache, and shoulder-length hair parted in the middle. He is muscular and tall....Reddish brown stains are found on the cloth, correlating with the wounds in the Biblical description of the crucifixion of Jesus....

Now that you know the relevant information about the shroud I will move on to revealing secrets about it...
In my previous blog entries titled Secrets of the Bible: King Solomon's Palace of the Forest of Lebanon, and Secrets of the Sudarium: Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven I revealed to you some of the hidden messages in their perimeter measurements in the foot, cubit, and the inch. The Shroud of Turin was made the same way with messages hidden in its true perimeter measurements in the foot, cubit, and inch, including in the true measurements of the image of the body of Jesus Christ that is on the shroud.
The Shroud of Turin is a well-intentioned sophisticated work of art that was created by a group of Roman Catholic monks at a monastery in France, circa 1127 A.D. (more on this later). The monks placed approximately 17 messages on the shroud about Jesus Christ through the use of mathematics, the Old and New Testaments, and the Greek and Hebrew alphabets. I will reveal all of the messages on this blog. I am sure you will enjoy reading them.
Before this writing nobody, not the Catholic Church that owns the shroud, nor any of the experts who have examined or studied it have been able to show any definitive or actual proof that the image of the man on the shroud is Jesus Christ. There has been a lot of speculating that it is him, but that is it. I will give you the proof that the image of the man is Jesus Christ.

Wikipedia says the shroud is "approximately 3ft 7 inches" wide (43 inches). I believe that is also the Vatican's measurement of the shroud's width. Both Wikipedia and the Vatican have the wrong width for the shroud. This means the Catholic Church, especially the Vatican is not aware that the shroud speaks through its dimensions.
When the shroud was created it was 42 inches wide.
" The Genealogy of Jesus " (Matthew 1:1-17).
In the gospel of Matthew Jesus Christ is the 42nd generation from Abraham. "Thus there were 'fourteen' generations in all from Abraham to David, 'fourteen' from David to the exile to Babylon, and 'fourteen' from the exile to the Christ" (Matthew 1:17 > 14+14+14=42nd generation). The creators of the shroud used the Genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1:1-17 and Jesus Christ being the 42nd generation from Abraham and made the shroud 42 inches wide to say to us that the image of the man on the shroud is "Jesus Christ" (42nd generation=42 inches=Jesus Christ).

2 Shroud.com-the official website for the Shroud of Turin has the width of the shroud as 3 1/2 ft... (42 inches). shroud.com has the width correct. They do not convert the width of the shroud to inches, nor do they know the shroud has hidden messages in its true perimeter measurements, and in the true measurements of the image of the body of Jesus Christ that is on the shroud.
