TRUE FEELINGS

Love is something that is rare to come across in this world in any place, to lose that special feeling is something that is truly hard to ever face.

Once you know that you have found the person who fills your heart, nothing in this world is worth letting it bring you apart.

Look into their eyes and tell them how much you care every day, also how there is nothing that will ever tear your feelings away.

It is truly how you feel it's what will in the future matter the most. Enjoy that special feeling and raise a glass and make a toast.

I am irrational
No proportion of my attributes
Defines me completely

Although the boundaries of me
Between what I never was
And what I can never be
Are concrete

Between them
I am infinite

Every night I pray for my soulmate.
Before I lay my soul to rest,
I imagine that perfect dress,
and me in a designer vest,
Holding hands looking into the most beautiful eyes feeling blessed,
with joy in my heart,
from butterflies flying around in my chest
I've prayed to God so many times,
testing my faith, hoping he navigate my dream girl to me,
While I'm still in this vulnerable state,
But my darkest days still don't define who I am.
The darkness just makes it easier to designate her love light coming in me.

Life is easy, life is hard, starring at old pictures were did I go wrong, living in a cell got me feeling like an animal, trying to get this freedom feels like its impossible, feel like giving up sometimes fall down to my knees, crying out to God saying lord help me please, falling in love had me chasing dreams, got my heart broken many times I wish that I could see,came out the trenches sad and cold hearted, tired of being poor I was hungry I was starving, left alone at home had to grow up on my own, eating out of trashcans that became the norm, kicked all my life could never catch a break

Don't chose me. If you are timid and shy, afraid to touch. Afraid of taking risk. Don't follow me in the dark because there's passion in the midst. Such pleasure's born for those the Heavens we could share. Because I'll steal your heart and capture your soul if you chose me. So, don't chose me! If you fear the excitement and thrive in normalcy. Envy, suspicions, inhibitions are forever gone from me. This spirit, I possess will serenade your lonely heart. Inspired by your love, if you can trust me in the dark.

O'mail man, please don't pass me by,
Don't you know I want a letter or two,
Just like these other guys?
I have gone days, even weeks,
But never months where my name
You fail to speak.

O'mail man, please don't pass me by.
Darkness has always flooded my quarters,
But mail has always offered
The slightest shimmer of light,
Even those built on false hope,
Those that easily fall into
A rubble of lies.

In shadows deep where time stands still,
I dream of freedom, hills to climb at will.
Behind these bars, my heart takes flight,
In hope's embrace, I find my light.

Days stretch long, like endless roads,
Yet in my mind, a seed of hope explodes.
I see the sun beyond these walls so gray,
Believing in tomorrow, I find my way.

Each passing hour, a whisper of change,
In patience woven, a life rearranged.
For though confined, my spirit soars,
In dreams of open skies and open doors.

She is a hurricane.
She is a ray of light. 
She blooms wild and shines bright. 
She is a lightning bolt. 
She is crisp morning air. 
She is everything and everywhere. 
My ideal woman.....

Should I be ashamed regarding my refusal to condemn dad for his insistence on introducing me to Weed and Acohol at the age of 7 ?
Today with the thought: FOLLOWING ORDERS THAT I AM IN HOPES WILL APPEASE
I didn't know when I opened the can I'd also open a trapdoor that I'd spend the next 43yrs falling through

The Walls Within

We all have walls, some higher than others
We guard our hearts from reckless selfish people
But we learn to let the light in
And it soaks deep within our skin.

Right from the start you had my heart
From the beginning to the end, it will stay
Throughout the states, cities, and Town
All the ups and downs.

Whatever life brings and all.
Those kinds of things God someone to hold
And never let go

Obstruction of justice, but then I ask,

What’s been obstructed?

And whose justice has been violated?

If I recall correctly, the last time that I checked, it was just – us.

Us meaning the souls that have been lost to the system.

The misguided who weren’t provided for,

the misjudged who when trapped in difficult situations didn’t budge,

the mischievous, the misbehaved

who could care less about the grave.

Simply a reactionary manchild who was only taught to be brave

and the misunderstood

who did what they could.

Freedom will not come Today,
this year Nor ever 
Through compromise and fear. 

I have as much right 
As the other fellow has to stand 
On my two feet 
And own the land. 

I tire so of hearing people say, 
Let things take their course.
Tomorrow is another day. 

I do not need my freedom 
when I’m dead. 
I cannot live on tomorrow’s bread. 
Freedom Is a strong seed
Planted In a great need. 

I live here, too.
I want my freedom 
Just as you.

Believe in yourself
And all that you are
And know that
There is something inside you
That is greater than any obstacle
Faith and hardwork

Happiness is a butterfly which when pursued is always beyond our grasp, But if you will sit quietly may alight upon you

Being illegally incarcerated is a crime against my mind body and soul . How can I stay strong when I have no resources to replenishment. How can I stay humble living in a concrete jungle. My atmosphere is anger, danger, and fear. Some express sadness through tattoo tears. Hope is something wished for that doesn't exist, just as mentioned it doesn't make sense but my illegal incarceration is paying the judges rent. A ponzy scheme is the America Dream getting paid off of illegal incarcerations is the AMERICA'S GREED. It's not fair, when will this nightmare end.

Winds of fate destined
Two souls by chance collide
Tendrils become entwined
From love they cannot hide
Forces push against
Wedging a separation
The lovers find a way
Feeding their desperation
Tempest arrive again
Reding fabrics being

Still living but without feeling

"You Are the One"

The one that I love with all my might
You are my every breath that I take

The one I'm thinking of every night
While I'm laying in my bed
Even then I take you into my dreams

The one that melted my broken and shattered heart

The one that makes everything right
The one I think of when I hug my pillow tight

The one that will one day be my wife and have my child

The one I think of as soon as I open my eyes

As a young b l a c k man I was told
My life wouldn't amount to much
I grew up seeing b l a c k on b l a c k violence
So b l a c k redemption I knew nothing of the such.
Never knew my true history, my lineage, culture from
Africa I was kept blind
So the true understanding of who I am, what and where I come from was a thing I had to find.
Africa, the world's first civilization hell no
That's something as a kid I was never told
In all the classes and history books I came from slaves
And Africa civilized by Rome.

The way we live, it is so fragile: we're just like glass.
We endure the intensity to transform into something else.
We become so solid, yet are completely transparent.
We could be so beautiful if only molded correctly.
If only we weren't forgotten,
if only one cared some more,
if only they were more careful -
maybe, maybe then, we wouldn't have shattered.
Maybe we could begin again though?
If only our voices could be heard,
if only we were seen,
if only we had the courage to look within -

Roses are Red, violets are blue, hopefully one day I get to know you!

When does a boy stop being a boy
give up his toys and all of his joys
and start being a man?
as soon as he can.

How can he know which way to go
Wisdom is wrong and the message is slow
How will he grow?
His actions will show.

Who is this boy come with the water
Will he hold up to loving my daughter
Will he do what is right?
I think he might.

Why does he fight throughout the night
without a light when others would cave
and begin to save?
Because he is brave.

My Past

I could be referring to a season towards this idea in the winter
You could bring the most beautiful feeling still bringing me pain like splinters
Laying on my back as I flap my arms like a bird in snow
It's a simple birthday wish when I look at the candle to blow

When I look into these things there are different colors coming to mind
My weakness by far is that money green that makes me go blind
So when I see you standing with the wind I picture what's flowing
To give you a clue it's on top of your head what's showing

Staring into the void

My thoughts become annoyed

All my imperfections reflected back

Anxiety starts its attack

Mirrors are never friendly

I am a person of substance. Don’t judge me by my looks or my clothes. I am more than what meets the eye. Define me by the tough battles I fight each day. Define me by my courage to face them as I rise above no matter how difficult. My life is not glorious and I don’t have medals to flaunt but my biggest trophy is my heart full of love and compassion. I value love, friendships, honesty and trust. I am a person of substance and I will survive despite all odds in my life because I am strong through and through.

WOOD’S ANGEL; She’s not ostentatious, She’s perspicacious, PURE AND TRU, no other could do, Hand in Hand, Heart to Heart is how We'll enter VALHALLA’S GATES, just ME and YOU, Tried and TRU! This Man Loves YOU!

She can Kiss the ground in the iciest winter and make Beautiful flowers grow, ONE look and this you’ll know; You don’t “fall” in LOVE, You fall off a ladder, LOVE-just is, it grows and grows, and-NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! It’s keen, so serene, and breath taking once you’ve seen, you’ll know what I mean; She’s WOOD’S ANGEL!
