My name is Aaron and I’m hoping to find positive and interesting new people to connect with. Prison is a place of concentrated negativity, but I try to keep my mind from being weighed down by the place and so I seek conversations that will help me transcend these walls…I was 15 years old when my bad decisions led to my incarceration. I only knew one lifestyle, a hopeless one. I’m now 25 years old and have made a lot of turnaround decisions that led to my new outlook/approach to life. I’m constantly learning new things which is continually exciting. I’m halfway toward earning a college degree and working toward becoming a certified welder and Braille transcriber so that when I am released I will be a self-sufficient and changed person.
Since I was a kid I loved to laugh and make others laugh and smile. I’m happy to say that I’ve never lost my sense of humor even in the depths of my darkest times. I have no kids but I’m a very proud uncle. My nieces are constant reminders to me that there is beauty and kindness in the world. They’re sweethearts. I feel blessed…I love all styles/genres of music and various forms of art. I recently took up drawing as a hobby. Expressive writing and creating things are fun too.
Thanks for reading my profile. I’m interested in hearing from you and look forward to getting to know you.
