First and foremost, I hope everyone is staying safe during these tragic times.

On another note, my name is Alan McCray but I prefer to be called Shaun, which is my middle name. This is what friends and family call me.

I’m on Write A Prisoner in search of new friends who are genuine, as well as loyal, whom, one day, I can call family. We all know blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family. I’m not necessarily looking for a relationship, but you never know what the future holds or where Cupid ends up sticking.

I’m a loyal dude, so I’m basically looking for someone who is similar to myself. You know what they say, “Birds of a feather, flock together”. I’m looking for someone who I can not only kick it with while I’m here, but when this nightmare is over as well.

I hope you don’t get discouraged by how long I’ve been in this situation or the time I have left. I’m currently on my appeal. It’s looking good for me and I’m very optimistic that I will be vindicated soon. I’ve been fighting for my freedom for 15 years and I will never quit.
