As for me, my name is Angel, part Colombian and part African American.
My wish would be to develop an unbreakable bond. When it rains it pours and for whatever reason when that happens, people tend to drift away with the clouds and the storms. Even though this happens I choose to stay open in it to any authentic friendship that comes my way.
This is my first time in prison and I must admit this place is teaching me life long lessons. Such as love is worth everything and can't be exchanged for nothing. For whatever reason the end of everything is really just the beginning of something better.
I've also learned that everything we fail we receive a secret gift. So, we must embrace our mistakes for further growth.
I am sitting here in prison behind robbery and burglary. The biggest mistake I made was turning to alcohol just because my heart ached. Never did I face my problems head on until I woke up in a cell. That was the child in me refusing to grow up. Now that I am forced to face my problems it's as if I finally get to enter manhood.
I enjoy writing poetry and I love the outdoors so much that I'm working on my first book and I am a Wild Land Firefighter by trade.
I also work very hard for my body. I just think posting shirtless pictures are tacky.
Feel free to write me. I've been craving a pen-pal!
