They say that “friends are the family that we choose for ourselves.” I must say that I agree. We can live in this world full of people and still feel alone. I’m looking to connect with positive, energetic, and strong people who have a passion for life who understand that our past mistakes don’t define us.
I love to inspire and uplift. I have a dream and a vision of becoming a motivational speaker and life coach. I am a published author of a book that I am very proud of: Escaping the Pen: How Lessons from Doing Time Can Set You Free; by King-B.
With my having a chance to go home next year, I’m looking to connect with positive people who will motivate me and challenge me to continue to ‘believe’ even when it gets hard. Most men who come back tell me that the one thing they really lacked is a ‘support system’.
My desire to connect with new friends is not rooted in my desire to receive but to give. No matter if your thoughts are as erratic as the surface of a lake, or as deeps as an ocean, I will be here to listen or call if that option is available.
