I’m a young at heart 40 year old, salt and peppered brown haired man with electric blue eyes and the wit to match.
I grew up in the Chicagoland area till the age of 27, then moved to San Diego, California for a year. Finally, moving to Portland, Oregon.
My hobbies are movies, screenwriting, performing arts, music, weight lifting and stand-up comedy. If I said, I love long walks on the yard, the way the sun sets through the razor wire, I’d be full of it. I’m reaching out for change.
My hopes are to find a deeper, more personal connection with life than what I get from television or my hostile environment. Someone to share their daily adventures with me, to keep me grounded; a free-world surrogate, a friend.
This is the first time I’ve put myself online. After receiving a sentence of life in prison without parole I figured no one would ever want to be my friend because there was no future. As of March 5th 2017, the Oregon Appellate Court overturned my conviction. At this moment I’m waiting on the Oregon Supreme Court to review the decision then enter the judgement to start the process for an out date.
The reality of a life outside these walls has filled me with hope; the determination to build a positive life through education, employment and relationships, be a part of something special, a gift.
