How are you? I hope you are having a nice day. As I enter this process, I must admit that I have always struggled with this part, that is, the writing of my biography. My difficulty is with threading the line between under and over-sharing, as well as whether to use a more serious or less formal tone.
Here is my try: I will start with a brief description of my past. Prior to my incarceration, I was divorced with two children. I had been working at AT&T for almost ten years. I was close to earning a helicopter pilot’s license, which I intended to turn into a career.
Presently, I am a devout Christian. I begin each day exercising my faith. Also, my spirituality has spawned two additional hobbies. I have become an amateur devotional writer. I have over 150 in my catalogue. I have also taken to drawing, where most of my practice has been creating cover art for my devotionals. Though, the example I’ve included is not of those. Instead, it exemplifies the fact that, despite my faith, I still know how to maintain a secular existence. I also enjoy reading. I like murder mysteries. My favorite series is by Spencer Quinn. I also like reading classic Stephen King. My TV viewing has taken some damage. Most of my likable shows have gone into their finales. The only one I know for certain that remains is Prodigal Son. Most of my TV time then relies upon the news and reruns of Bob’s Burgers. I compensate with more time listening to music. There, I trend toward hard rock to heavy metal. I do spatter in a few selections from other genres like Travis Tritt and Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 14.
I do hold out great hope for my future. I have appeals in court of which I’m optimistic of success. Upon my release, I intend to venture into the mission fields. In the interim, I’m toying with the idea of entering a degree program in theology. Now, from you, what do I seek? Primarily friendship. Though, I will not lie, I may ask for help. I do not have reliable assistance in obtaining information from the internet. That would be the height of anything in which I might ask you to assist.
So, if I have piqued your curiosities, if you would like to hear more, please initiate contact. My facility does offer email service, of which you can become enrolled at www.ConnectNetwork.com. Otherwise, I’m not adverse to writing and mailing letters in a historic fashion. I hope to hear from you soon.
