Though responsibility is a serious commitment, it is by no means a burden because the more responsibility we assume, is it true, the more control have over our own lives?

No, yet when we do, we put in place the best strategy for moving forward.
The alternative to taking responsivity is to allow ourselves to be a victim. Though we may take comfort in blaming our troubles on others, by doing so we lose the power to put those troubles behind us.
The choice of taking responsibility always comes down to this…Do we want to be a victim, or do we want to be in control?
