When I’m talked about aloud, and don't feel shame in what I do.
and the positive outweigh negative, like I finally got the clue.
When my dreams are finally met, and no longer what I pursue
and they speak of me in kindness, no matter the color of their hue.
When the homeless are not crying, and their children are well-fed
and we celebrate a life that’s living, and not when it's just dead.
When we reach down and pull up what is said our fellow man
and “history repeats itself” is something that we all outran.
When I can smile because I know every suffering has it’s end
and extend my hand sincerely not in a way that's half pretend.
When I can leave my doors open and not fear external fright
and wake up without harm; everything will be alright.
