Hello, my name is Ed. I'm a 56-year-old, 100% disabled veteran who has been in prison for almost thirty years. I'm seeking to meet people to learn how to be social. I have a very limited understanding of the computer-centric lifestyle on the outside. As a Lynyrd Skynyrd song states, I'm a "Simple Man." I'm an old country boy who likes to hunt and fish. I enjoy rock and country music. I'm a dog lover and would like to raise my own animals and garden someday.

I'm a Messianic Jewish believer and have been trying to adhere to what's written in God's word. My disability is PTSD from my time in the U.S. Marines in Africa in 1993. I love the woods where it is peaceful and quiet; it calms the anxiety in my head. For the last thirty years, I've only had pictures and books of the outdoors, but I hope to be out in the real thing one day.

I do like to cook, and during my time here, I've had to become very inventive. I read a lot of books, from fiction to non-fiction about living off-grid, hunting, or fishing. The fiction has been end-of-the-world survival type books. Reading has been keeping my mind sharp.

I'm looking for someone who can provide an understanding of life outside with similar interests and a similar mindset.
