Hello, I was sentenced to life in prison for a crime I committed when I was sixteen. I've been incarcerated for over two decades, so I have had to grow and mature through extremely de-humanizing conditions, however, I have been fortunate to maintain a measure of human decency and dignity, which kept me from losing myself in the process.
I like to attribute much of this good fortune to my strong faith in the goodness and grace of the living God. I haven't always been a shining reflection of Christian values, but I am finding myself at a place, now, where I desire to re-connect with the roots of my faith in Christ. Somewhat like the Prodigal Son, I came to my senses at the lowest point in my life, and am walking back into the arms of my beloved Father in Heaven.
One thing I have learned through these years is that our humanity exists in a state of interrelatedness. We need each other to arrive at our highest potential as human beings. So, I am hoping to make a connection and celebrate the fullness of God's grace, mercy, and love while getting to know someone new. Hope to meet some good friends.
Look forward to hearing from you. We do not get the envelopes of mail we receive, so please include address in the letter as well.
