I'm a 35-year-old male with a beautiful young daughter and a teenage son. I've made several huge mistakes while in the grips of drug addiction, and now I'm paying the price. It's not all bad though—this has given me forced sobriety and all the time in the world to reflect on how to improve my life.
It gets pretty lonely in here. I've severed ties with my old friends because I don’t want to return to my old lifestyle. Other than reading and playing soccer, I don’t have much to occupy my time. I'm hoping to take a few courses while I'm here, but I still miss social connection. I would love to have someone to write to.
