Is My Time In Vain?
Is my time in vain in the USA where mass incarceration gets my country fame?
Is my time in vain wear black on black crime isn’t looked at as shame?
Is my time in vain in the place where people yell and curse their only support system day by day?
Is my time in vain where gangs carry negative energy all damn day?
Is my time in vain where people laugh at me for reading my Bible and not participating in the devil’s games?
Is my time in vain in the place where the police treat you like an animal for no reason day after day?
Is my time in vain where the prison throws out so much food, but people are starving north, south, east, west throughout the USA every single day?
Is my time in vain where people got hooked on drugs to cope with the Covid waves?
Is my time in vain where people are petty over a $.25 soup, I can’t believe these lames!
Is my time in vain? No, my time isn’t in vain. I am doing everything I can to change and not make the same mistakes so I can tell the younger generations you don’t have to feel this pain and that’ll make me feel so free and happy I’ll be able to smile even outside in the pouring rain.
