Meet James:

All my life, my mom told me I was good-looking, and it's always worked out great for me—until I came to prison. Prison is the one place where being good-looking isn’t much of an advantage.

No, seriously though, all jokes aside, prison opened my eyes to the need to become a better person—specifically, a better father. I have a little girl, and she is my entire world. Everything I do, from getting my education and working on my degrees to reforming myself, is so that I can get home and be a better man and father.

A few things about me you may like to know: I love tattoos—that’s why I have so many, including a giant spider on my face (just kidding about the spider!). Another thing I love is cars and food. Aside from my family and daughter, those are the things I miss the most from the outside world. There’s nothing like driving 100 mph, steering with your knee, eating a banana split, and listening to Taylor Swift.

I’ve already met all the people I want to meet in prison, so that’s why I’m here—to meet new people. I think one of the best ways to grow is by sharing life experiences with others. So if you’re reading this right now, I hope to hear from you.

Stay Frosty
