Love changes the world, and faith gets us through tough times. Sometimes we act as though we can live without hope. I don't know about you but the times I'm at my best are times filled with a sense of hope. You know, the smallest thing can change your life. In the blink of an eye something happens by chance when you least expect it, set you up on a course that you never planned, into a future that you never imagined. Where will it take you? That's the journey of life, searching for the light but sometimes finding the light means passing through the deepest darkness. At least that's how it was for me.
I wonder why the world doesn't pay enough attention to hope. I have hope in the Lord Jesus who created me. Of course challenges come my way but somehow He gives me enough courage/ strength/ provision to come through the challenges in life. I'm not one to let them get me down, or at least not for long. LOL
I like to ride dirt bikes and have cook outs and build bonfires and just do outdoor stuff ... but I like trying to make cake , and stews, plus I like to spar .... I am definitely a family and friends type of person. I've been in here so long I just want to savor life, sit by a creek, and be content . Maybe show my daughter that I'm not how she thinks I am, just by living one day at a time so she can see my actions and character for herself.
I love to play some soccer when they allow us to have outside time. I might be getting older in age but I can still keep up with the younger ones that come in here and play the sport. I certainly would appreciate any extra mail to come my way. Hopefully we can become friends...
A quote I like...."Giving up is only an option for those who don't want it bad enough." :)
P.S. I am housed in NC though our mail comes through a service in Maryland.
