I’m Jason Brown, 29. I’m incarcerated for robbery, for which I was charged as an adult when I was 17.
As an inmate, it’s difficult to meet new people, because the opportunities to reach the outside world are very limited. So I decided to create this profile to meet new people and build positive connections.
During this time I have earned my G.E.D., and I’m currently in college for my Associate's Degree in Social Science. I’m hoping that having an education will make it easier for me to get a job when I’m out. I came to jail as a teenager and matured and grew, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I’m a great friend, reliable, respectful, loyal, honest, trustworthy, non-judgmental, caring, and a great listener.
To pass time, I enjoy reading and writing letters, reading books, watching TV, listening to music, working out, and playing sports. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing where the friendship goes. Every relationship in my life is important to me because it’s part of me and my life. You never know who you will meet and what role they will play in your life or vice versa.
Feel free to ask and write about whatever comes to mind. I’m open-minded and willing to be open as we hopefully begin a friendship. Can’t wait to meet you. I can receive emails through Jpay but can’t reply to them by email, so include a mailing address for me to write back.
