Greetings outside world! My name is J.D.. I was a very social person out there, and after nearly thirteen years, I'm looking to meet new people from the U.S. and abroad. Having mutual interests would be beneficial. Here's a little about myself.

An Iowa native, I spent two years at the University of Iowa before discovering my calling was culinary arts. I moved to Minneapolis, attended a French culinary school and formally trained in the art of classical French cuisine. To travel and dine throughout France would be the ultimate destination for me.

Music has always been in my life, either playing or listening. Rock is my main preference in a wide variety of artists, and I'll even admit an affinity for disco. I've played guitar for thirty-seven years and had many weekend gigs out there in the band I co-founded. Fortunately, the prison I'm at has a music program, and I own the guitar in the photo.

Some of my interests outside of prison included work, owning a home, pets, cooking, the band, and more. Now I enjoy playing guitar, artwork, reading non-fiction, some TV shows, and sports such as football, golf, and the Olympics. I continue working on recovery in A.A. as well. Because text is limited, I'll gladly provide details about my life in correspondence and look forward to hearing from you.
