18 years ago I was strung out on cocaine and liquor. I lost myself and wreaked havoc. Being arrested was like waking up from a terrible dream, except the consequences and harm I had caused were very real. I accepted responsibility for what I had done and resolved to move forward.
I've come a long way from the scared, angry kid I was. I have completed my bachelor's in psychology, earned my journeyman's electrical license, and had my writing published. I have mentored and taught classes, learned new skills, and gained a new perspective. I've built my body, mind, and resume.
At this point, I want to build relationships. I hope to go back to school, earn a Master's or Ph.D. then work with at-risk youth, truth-seekers, and addicts seeking recovery. I'm interested in books, fitness, nature, tiny homes, music, spirituality, martial arts, and zombies.
