2nd Sun

Why am I sad in the sun,
But feel glad when it rains?
You need more than imagination,
To imagine my pain.
Try to imagine my life,
Teenager witnessin’ death,
Never told a soul,
Kept that stuff to myself.
With no assistance or help,
I did a lot on my own.
Only write when it’s wrong.
I put my life in uh song,
Wore my heart on my sleeve.
Analyzin’ my present,
The past is hard to believe.
So close to the edge like,
How far are my dreams?!
It’s less stress in success,
It’s not hard to succeed,
Not a part of my team?
Conversation is wasted,
Waste of time and attention.
I paid attention to Franklin,
In dis vision I’m famous.
I try to manage the fame,
The rainbow I’ma reap,
She comin’ after the rain.
And after the rain?
I’ll be glad to see the sun again.
That’s my physical freedom,
When my momma see her sun again.
