Hey there, thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Jose, I am currently in prison in the desert located near the California and Arizona border. So you know I'm out here working on my Aztec gold skin. LOL! I have been incarcerated for almost two decades, and God willing I could be getting out by mid 2024. I was born in Southern California, I am bilingual English and Spanish, if you feel more comfortable with Spanish language that is also an option "Si Habla Español"
While in prison I learned to play the guitar and to draw. I enjoy listening to any kind of music and to stay young and healthy I play soccer and exercise. Prison has also helped me value and appreciate things I used to take for granted. At the moment, I work as a mentor in a drug program, it gives me an opportunity to give back and help others in their desire for change. I am honored to say that I'm a college graduate waiting to receive my AA degree in Social and Behavioral Science.
My friends describe me as a down to earth person, friendly, supportive, with a good sense of humor and trustworthy. And if I may add, "humble enough to sit down" (Shout-out Kendrick Lamar) LOL!
