Meet Jose:

Hey! What's up, people?

My name is Jose, and I'm thrilled to be getting out next year. I remain full of life and all smiles. I've been incarcerated since my youth. I was 17 years old when I was tried as an adult. I am now 31 and getting ready to be released, and I'm hyped about it! I am a much better man now than that little kid who was lost and doing the most. I've been able to achieve many things during this time. I have well over 30 certificates completed in here. Just to name a few: welding certificate, youth mentor, culinary, high school diploma, and I'm currently in the college program. I am getting ready to complete my Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree, but most importantly, I'm a better version of myself.

The reason why I decided to try this website is to hopefully gain a connection with some amazing new people. You know that they say life is short, so don't hesitate – let's make the most of it! I would eventually like to travel our country and the world, possibly with you. I have not been anywhere other than Mexico, which I don't really remember too well. If you feel we may have a connection on any level, please reach out. Don't be shy; I don't take anything for granted! Stay positive and have a blessed day.

Sincerely,

Jose Antonio Lona
