Hello, my name is Joseph Bunnell and I am, obviously, incarcerated. I am serving Life with the possibility of parole, with 20 years ran consecutively, in Oklahoma.
That is a lot of time. I am lonely, and am looking for companionship. Incarcerated at the age of 21, having been in 6 years closing in on 7, I am currently 27. I was, as kids often are, of the belief that I was untouchable, that I had everything under control. Now I strive for the capacity to control myself at maximum efficiency to be the best version of me. Change is not easy. I am a work in progress, but I am trying my best every day. The man I am today is not the foolish kid that earned my incarceration, and the man I will be tomorrow will be better than the man I am today. All I ask is that you judge me by the man before you, as I will measure you by the person presented before me - you will find no harsh judgment here.
With that said, I love to read books. I have loved books from a young age, and have now found them to be my best escape. My genre of choice is fantasy, I am quite a bit of a nerd. I play pathfinder every weekend and find joy in most boardgames.
Currently my spare time is greatly occupied with learning the art of crochet. I try to stay busy, working Monday through Friday, exercising, and taking an active part in a number of groups in my community. As full as that sounds. I often feel empty and alone - sparking my quest to envelop my life of joy and happiness, to rekindle passion, despite the odds. This is why I am here, seeking someone to be an uplifting influence in my life. I hope I am able to be one in yours as well.
Prison is not easy, but neither is life, and it is good to have someone to lean on, to confide in.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
