    Sometimes I cry,
    When I’m alone,
I cry because I’m on my own,
The tears I cry are bitter and warm,
They flow like A bad storm,
    Life with no form,
I cry because my heart is torn,
Sometimes its difficult to carry on,
If I had an ear to confide in,
I would cry amongst my treasured friends,
But who do you know that would stop that long,
    To help another carry on,
The world moves fast and would rather pass you by,
Then to stop and see what makes you cry,
    Life through my eyes,
    Would scare a square straight,
    Poverty murder and violence,
And never a moment to rest,
Fun and games are a few,
But are treasured like gold to me
Cuz I realize I must return
    To my spot in poverty
