Dear Reader,

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Matt, I am 40 years old and the father of two. I have both a son and daughter. I am 5'9" and weigh 165 pounds. I'm in good shape and work out as much as I can make myself LOL. I'm bald, unfortunately LOL. I had dark brown hair and have hazel green eyes. I'm from VA and have lived here my whole life.

I'm looking to make new friends. Being incarcerated is not the best of situations, so at this time, things are really hard. I'd love to have someone with whom I can have a good conversation. I'm not only looking for someone to be there for me. I would love to be able to be there for a special someone as well. Even though I can't physically, I can emotionally and would love the opportunity. That's one of the things I thought about most when deciding whether or not to give this a try. I'd absolutely love to be there for someone special. I'd love to know that I was able to change their day and be what made them smile when they are down. I'd love to be the person to completely change their day from bad to good. One of the things I'm looking for the most is a good, strong, dependable, caring relationship. Knowing a visit or conversation with me made someone's day would make my week.

Before becoming incarcerated, I worked as a welder and was married once for seven years. I absolutely loved being a father and adored my children more than anything. Becoming incarcerated and losing the opportunity to be there for them crushed me more than anything. Being a father to my two children was everything to me. Other than being a father, I loved anything to do with motorcycles. I've loved to ride my entire life. On or off-road, I love to ride. I also grew up skateboarding and surfing. I loved the water, whether at the river, the lake, or the ocean. I love being on the water. I also love to fish, both saltwater and freshwater. I loved to cook out and just have a good time. I also love music and have been playing the guitar since age 14. And last but not least, I love art, especially body art. Since being incarcerated, I've increased my tattoos a lot, to say the least. But being a father was what made me happiest.

Unfortunately, I am incarcerated. As much as it bothers me to say it, I'm incarcerated for murder, and at this time, I have a life sentence with possible parole. For the longest time, I never believed all the people who claimed to be innocent of the crime they are away for, not until I went through it myself. I was blamed for a murder I did not commit. That is something else I am looking to share with new people. I want and need to get my story put out into the world. I'm a very loving and caring person, not what I have been labeled. I would love the chance to tell my side and have someone listen with an open mind and heart.

Without continuing to ramble, that's about it for me. Thank you so much for reading my profile. The picture I have at the time are kind of old. I have sent new ones home to be added soon. To be honest, the only thing that has changed is the amount of tattoos.
