Hey! My name is Maxwell Johnson. I’m a 23 year old San Diego native who would prefer to be at the beach right now, but is unfortunately occupied repaying a debt to society. We all make mistakes, and I may be no angel, but my time is being served productively. My main focus at the moment is chipping away at my A.A. degree while simultaneously learning stone masonry at my prison’s trade school. It’s too bad that I could not discover the importance of education before prison but better late than never, right?
As a free man I graduated high school in 2015, briefly attended college, but instead decided to choose a paycheck. When I was not working I loved going to the beach, hiking, traveling and overall enjoying that signature Cali lifestyle. Needless to say it was a difficult transition to have my freedom stripped and become incarcerated, but I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. Every hardship that we are able to overcome, helps shape us into stronger individuals. These days my mind is right thanks to sobriety and my newfound appreciation for education, but so is my body; physical fitness has also become a huge cornerstone of my life.
Well 250 words is not much, but I am hoping this bio has sparked your interest in writing me. I am really looking forward to meeting someone interesting! Thanks for your time – I’ll hear from you soon?
