It's hard but it's fair,
Like the restriction of air,
Like the loss of hair,
Similar to the hunger of a child,
Similar to the domestication of the wild.
There is so much suffering people have to endure,
Consider the sick who have no cure.
Consider the abused orphans plight,
Think about the blind who have no sight,
And think deeper about how little empathy
People have for one another.
But no matter how bad the situation,
people fight to stay alive,
And no matter how terrible it gets
Think clear and strive in an effort to thrive!
