I am writing for assistance for my case. I was wrongfully accused and convicted of a crime in Macomb County Michigan. The Judge railroaded me by not being ethical or fair in court case #2019-000223-FH. He would not allow my me to represent myself let alone speak in his courtroom.
The judge threatened to lock me up for contempt of court because he did not want me to say anything. The judge tried to force me to take an attorney and I refused. The judge had a jury selected without me being present and to make matters worse I had a trial without me being present which I did not waive so how is this ethical or legal.
I, Omar Lathon-Bey was convicted of control substance that was in an apartment I did not live in. At the time I was arrested, my daughter and I was in my vehicle. No control substances was found on my person or in my vehicle. The judge did not allow me to state my innocence or truth instead he had a trial without me or evidences. First the court stated the charge is under 50 grams then they stated over 50 grams of control substance.
Needless to say I was found guilty on September 4, 2019. Judge sentenced me to prison 144 months to 480 months. This is not justice and Macomb County has history of being unfair. I am pleading for your assistance please. Please help in this matter. I submitted an appeal in which it was denied.
