I’ve a future in envy,
An unparalleled innocence of conscious abilities,
None hostile nor docile but impalpable,
I use my conflicting past to temper my
Current existence, rectifying my tattered wings,
An envied sparrow…
I think of minutes, staring at time, taunting
It to fight me.
Can’t the face of Ol’ grandfather time see that
I’m fueled by time himself?
If time were to rewind, the sparrow of I would
Pecking nightmares and fury chased the best of
Me, while my heart beat a symphony angrier
Imagine any realm, inside my humbled mind, a
Fortress of solitude, grandiose pillars carved during
Passion, feasts of grace, seating only relieved
In my home there’s an amass of unrecorded
Knowledge, only aspirations secure my insecurities,
Where before my conscious thoughts were shadowed,
But now believe it or not, only dearest grandfather
Time, no matter what you do…
You will not be envied.
