My name is Raymond Bingham, and I am presently serving time in a Texas state prison. Quite simply, I am looking for a pen pal to share thoughts and ideas with. There are no expectations or judgments, just hopefully a mutual respect and sincerity that will develop between friends.
Sometimes there are days in this prison environment that seem dark or gloomy, with no chance of sunlight to brighten the day. Maybe hearing a few words from someone outside this environment can be that beam of light and brighten the day :)
I am 62 years old, and I am not from Texas; I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to New York City in adulthood. I was arrested during a visit to Texas. I was leading a “fast life” back then. I have truly made mistakes and poor choices early in my life. However, I believe that everyone should be able to learn something from our past experiences—something useful and good! I enjoy exercising, sports, and good books, particularly historical fiction and mysteries.
