By Me – Richie P.
Every time I step outside
I look at the sky as a place I may
Someday physically reside.
Blind to science, my mind
Slides against the grains of the toughest grinds
High hopes to someday find
One that coincides with mine, I try
But then realize that I
Cannot pry fate away from the perfect time.
A privy situation in which patience is needed
Will she be only a belief
Unless I truly believe it?
Be possible, applicable, indeed to me
As it seems almost seamless like invisible string.
Yet, when please bring is brought and give me is gotten
May the dream we both sought for not be forgotten
Broaden our fire from a flicker to a blaze
Allow excitement to stay and make bigger, our days.
