No one can strip me down, and define what is me
I’m the artist of these lines, on this canvas you see
With vivid color applied, brought flashes of life
Warm feelings of joy, melt through emotional ice
A heart that is caring; not judgmental at all
Brush strokes so unique leave onlookers in awe
A touch here, a dab there, a slight blend on the edge
Contrast shades move in sync, an admirable pledge
This image of beauty you might not descry
A portrait of friendship in the beholders eye
My artwork of spirit, therein lay the truth
Sometimes a façade is distorted, uncouth
Inquire about me, but don’t label me a fashion
The depths of my character; is far deeper than you
Could imagine
