To whom it may concern,

This is a written profile/summary about me. I am Sean Barnes. I am 49 years old. I want to be fully honest, so I will tell you that I am here for drugs. I don't look back on the past because it's no longer here. However, I definitely can't forget where I've been. Anyone can look me up anyway, so there's that.

First of all, I like to stay busy, whether it's going to the chapel, education, or recreation. Mostly recreation because I love working out and playing racquetball. I have a job here as a hospital companion, pushing a gentleman in a wheelchair. I'm not the same person I was when I came to prison. Some attributes are the same as they are kind of instilled in me. I love love stories, both books and movies, and don't mind shedding a tear or two.

My children are grown. They are 27, 24, and 18, and are my absolute world. My sister is my rock and keeps me going. I'm self-sufficient and try not to ask anyone for anything. I love helping others. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Being locked up brought me back to real life, and I appreciate it now more than ever. I try not to waste time. I love having meaningful conversations. I think life has so much to offer; we just have to seek it out, and that is the path I am on.

I have learned things about myself I never knew. I guess you could say, I finally have time to "stop and smell the roses." I know this is supposed to be about me, but it's not always about me, so I can't wait to hear all about you!
