I am ex-correctional officer turned prisoner. One day on the job I got hit on the back of the head and woke up in a cell wearing an inmates clothes. But nobody believes me, they won't let me out, so here I sit.
Okay, maybe that last part's a lie. But I am stuck in a cell and looking to meet some positive people. I've made some good friends behind these walls in my college classes, the welding shop I work in and on the workout bars.
I have a great family who I communicate with regularly and I have a few friends outside these walls who I'm grateful for, but prison severely limits your ability to meet new people. I miss the fun and excitement of meeting someone new. I have a way of getting lost in the experience of meeting someone, engulfed in the pleasure of getting to know one another, and spending time thinking of ways to bring a smile to their face. I miss that. I only have a few years left on my sentence, and I'm hoping to meet someone who can help me pass that time.
I love animals anything that makes me smile/laugh. I'm a sucker for corny jokes, and a big music fan. I'm a hopeless optimist. I believe in the power of human ability and potential. If we have a goal and we're willing to strive and sacrifice, there is little I believe that can't be achieved. I raised a lot of hell in my life, now my goals focus on leaving a positive mark on this world.
I could go on forever about my likes/dislikes, but why don't we save that for future conversations and you tell me about yourself?
Do you have any pets? Where are you from? What do you do? Hobbies? What's the most fun thing you did this year?
Not to sound like a cliché, but I look forward to hearing from you.
