Hi!
My name is Victor, and I'm super excited because I'm finishing a twenty-year sentence! (Originally, it was twenty-five! Ouch, worst-feeling-ever!). This whole "ordeal" has been a very intense experience, but with extraordinary educational side-effects! Still, I won't recommend prison! (Food here is worse than advertised!).
A long time ago, I reached out to Write A Prisoner not really believing that people out there would be interested in our lives, but it was not true, and I was blessed that I had the opportunity to meet good people. It was something that I really enjoyed. But now things have changed: the huge "wall" that was between me and the "world" is almost gone! I feel great in every aspect of my life. And now that I can realistically make plans for my future, I would love to meet new people and hopefully make good friends.
I think that now it's fair for the people who might allow me the opportunity to meet them because soon I will be able to offer a friendship that is not as limited. It's very little you can contribute to when your hands are "tied" to your back. But now it's kind of cool being able to finally say, "I'll be there, I got you".
