To someone with an open mind and kind heart,
I am a man who knows what loneliness looks like, I am a man who knows what hopelessness looks like, and I am a man who knows what bitterness taste like. I am a man who knows the value of time, I am a man who knows the value of freedom, and I am a man who knows the value of friendship.
This communication thing is somewhat kind of new to me after being locked up for 34 years. Sometimes it’s good to hear a few encouraging words of hope, faith, trust, and friendship. Being in a place where time is all one have to do and I take it as it comes to me, one day at a time.
I am hoping to hear from anyone who is willing to see beyond my present circumstances and able to bestow upon me some much-needed understanding because there’s more to me than meets the eye. I don’t care about one’s race, one’s faith, one’s social background. The only thing that matters to me is the ability to always be honest and sincere in anything when it comes to me because I promise to do the same.
I’ve been incarcerated since the age of 17 years old and I hope that somebody will find the compassion in their heart to allow me to communicate with the outside world.
Love to You,
