A Thousand Loves

For My Sister

In my dreams I see two blissful white doves,

They have a friendship that’s worth more than a thousand loves.

They flap their wings and together they sing,

To the joy that only their hearts could bring.

Like precious rubies they shine very bright,

Together as one, what a lovely sight.

So peaceful they look when they’re together,

Their souls will be connected forever.

Life has blessed us with many lovely things,

Like our philia that always clings.

The doves that I see remind me of us,

Powerful and strong like a nucleus.

They have a bond stronger than steel alone,

Nothing can kill the beauty that has grown.

There have been plenty of thunderous nights,

But they still knew they will reach greater heights.

In my dreams I see two blissful white doves,

They have a friendship that’s worth more than a thousand loves.
